When do tickets go on sale?
Early Bird Tickets are on sale as of the 15th of September this includes a free nights camping, General Ticket sales are open as of October 8th
What is the line up?
The first line up will be announced on September 9th to find out what the line up is click here.
I am a local do I have to pay full price for a ticket if I am not camping?
Tickets are $105 which we think is great value at less than $5 per band! Camping is free to all and we do encourage locals to use the FREE camping to really experience the festival vibe. We will have FREE BBQ BREAKFAST available each morning, a child minding service and various activities happening around the park. However if you don't wish to camp that is fine. You will have to go through the same ticket process as everyone else.
What happens if it rains?
The show must go on! The festival will run rain hail or shine, unless the safety of patrons and artists are in danger. The festival does reserve the right to reschedule the event and/or change locations.
The festival is BYO is there limits on what we can bring?
No glass allowed in the festival and no unreasonable amounts per site as per any normal camping trip for a family orientated environment.
How many tickets do you sell?
Fotsun has a ticket limit of 3000, so you had better get in quick!
It's fantastic that camping is included in the ticket price, when can we arrive and when do we have to leave?
Your camping ticket allows you to camp from 12 NOON Friday 12th of December until 4 PM on Sunday the 14th of December 2008. If you want to stay any longer, you can purchase extra nights camping on the Moshtix website where you get your general tickets. Please DO NOT ARRIVE between 10 PM and 8 AM or you will be turned away by security.
I want to camp next to my friends, is that possible?
Camping site allocations are provided on arrival, arrive together if you want to camp together. If you intend to camp alongside friends YOU MUST meet up beforehand and arrive together - there are NO EXCEPTIONS!
Is it safe to leave my valuable items lying around my tent and not expect them to be stolen?
NO!!! We will be supplying 24 Hr security at the festival and the camping site but we do not take responsibility for one's property, either lock your valuables away or keep them on you. Why don't you even leave the mobile behind for the weekend and totally relax!
Are there powered sites for a caravan?
There sure is but you do need to book the space call Sundowner Holidays for more information and bookings.
I just can't get enough music - can I set up my stereo on my campsite?
Of course you can but be aware that if you rock to loud and upset your neighbours we may have to ask you leave, and we wont let you back in. So enjoy your tunes but don't keep anyone awake!
Are there showers and toilets?
There sure are, and REAL SOFT TOILET PAPER! Why not check out the camping facilities on the Sundowner Holidays website.
Can we pick our camping site?
No, first in first served.
Are fireworks permitted on the site?
FIREWORKS are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in the camping and festival area. If you are caught with fireworks you will be ejected from the campground and the festival and the matter will then be passed on over to the police to deal with.
Is it OK to park in surrounding streets?
No, parking inspectors will be on patrol and will happily give you a ticket.
Can I bring my dog?
Animals are not permitted on the camping or event grounds.
Can I work at the festival in return for a ticket?
Yes, we will be running a volunteer program but there are limited positions available. If you would like to be involved email us on the contact page and let us know that you are interested. |
